Deburring, slag removal, and surface finishing eat up labor hours when they’re done by hand. The Baileigh WBS-37 is a 37" x 60" wide belt sander built for fabrication, precision machining, and MRO shops that need consistent, repeatable results on mild steel, stainless steel, non-ferrous metals, and plastics.
A 10 HP main motor and 1720 RPM belt drive deliver up to 2,700 FPM of abrasive belt speed, and a variable 2–26 FPM conveyor handles material from 1/32" to 6" thick and up to 37" wide.
Auto sanding height adjustment with a digital readout and 10 programmable height presets speeds changeovers between parts, and auto belt tracking keeps the abrasive centered to reduce uneven wear. UL 987-certified safety systems — including door interlocks, an E-stop, and a quick-stop abrasive belt e-brake — protect operators, and the machine is backed by a 1-year parts warranty plus Baileigh Lifetime Technical Support.
